ABSTRACT:
A hydraulic fluid comprises an ester of orthoboric acid of formula CBA.sub.2 or ABC.sub.2 in which C is a glycol residue and A is a glycol ether residue. The fluid may also contain a mono- or di-ether of a glycol.
