ABSTRACT:
A method of enhancing the creep properties of thermal mechanical processed creep resistant platinum-based alloys by heating the alloy, which is dispersion-strengthened with yttria, to a temperature not less than about 2800.degree. F. for a period of not less than about 6 hours and cooling the alloy in air.
