ABSTRACT:
Uranium is recovered from phosphate ore in a process comprising making phosphoric acid, partially reacting same with NH.sub.3, removing aluminum with dilute sodium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate and extracting the uranium with a concentrated solution of said carbonates.
