ABSTRACT:
A method of manufacturing extruded flat multihole aluminum tube for heat exchangers is disclosed, which is characterized in that, in the hot extrusion of flat multihole Al-Cu or Al-Cu-Mn tubes, a plurality of tubes are extruded side by side in the longitudinal direction and Zn is flame sprayed onto both even surfaces of the tubes in the vicinity of the extrusion exit of the tubes to cover both even surfaces of the extruded tubes with Zn. The covering level of Zn is 3 to 30 g/m.sup.2.
