ABSTRACT:
Fungicidal triazole and imidazole compounds are disclosed. Intermediate for preparing these compounds include, for example, compounds of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is phenyl optionally substituted by halogen, nitro, alkyl, haloalkyl, alkoxy, haloalkoxy, phenyl or halophenyl; R.sup.4 is hydrogen; and R.sup.5 is optionally substituted phenyl.
