ABSTRACT:
A coating composition contains an organic solvent, a binder composed of an anhydride resin with more than one non-cyclic anhydride moiety and an epoxy resin derived from an epoxy-containing unsaturated monomer, and a catalyst wherein a catalyst is reacted with the core of a branched acrylic copolymer formed from at least about 5% by weight of an acid-functional unsaturated monomer, and grafted to the core, one end of a macromolecular acrylic stabilizer soluble in an organic solvent.
