ABSTRACT:
A printing or copying apparatus including a rotatable member, a number of processing devices for forming an electrostatic latent image on the rotatable member, for developing the latent image and for transferring the developed image from the rotatable member to an image transfer medium, a circuit for generating a series of clock signals in response to the rotation of the rotatable member, an element for repetitively generating control pulses in each process in accordance with the clock pulses, the control pulses determining the timing with which the processing devices are operated, and a controller for controlling desired operations of the processing devices in accordance with necessary ones of the control pulses.
