ABSTRACT:
A circuit for eliminating transient pulses generated by bouncing mechanical contacts within a switch. A shift register accepts a series of binary input signals from the switch and propagates the signal out the register in parallel to a logic device for generating a resultant binary signal corresponding to the switch's debounced signal state.
