ABSTRACT:
The phase shift resolution provided by an N element digital gyromagnetic phase shifter is increased and the number of obtainable phase states is increased by 2.sup.N -1 to 2.sup.N+1 -1 by modification of the control and driver circuitry to selectively set elements to a half-maximum phase shift condition in addition to the known zero phase shift and maximum phase shift conditions.
