ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to a method for producing albuterol by the resolution of a mixture of enantiomers of 5-[2-[(1,1-dimethylethyl)amino]-1-hydroxyethyl]-2-hydroxybenzoate using ditoluoyltartaric acid.
