ABSTRACT:
The disclosed pressure control valve includes a valve sleeve, a spool valve slidably mounted in the valve sleeve, an electromagnet including a core having a flange portion formed at one end, a push rod, a coil assembly, and a case. A tapered portion is formed on an end surface of at least one of a flange formed on the valve sleeve or the flange portion of the core. Since only the peripheries of the flange portions contact, concentricity of the spool valve and the push rod can be readily obtained at the time of assembling the valve sleeve and the core. The case has an annular recess formed on its inner surface for receiving a part of the electromagnet, for example the coil assembly or the flange portion of the core. An end portion of the case is locked into an annular stepped portion formed on the flange portion of the valve sleeve. Therefore, the length of the assembled electromagnet portion can be shortened by the depth of the annular step. A ring made of unwoven fabric is interposed between the flange portion of the core and the coil assembly to prevent looseness and to remove foreign matter from the hydraulic oil.
