ABSTRACT:
A silver halide photographic material having at least one silver halide light-sensitive emulsion layer on at least one side of a support, wherein said silver halide emulsion layer comprises tabular silver halide grains having a grain thickness of 0.3 .mu.m or less and accounting for at least 50% of the total projected area, and a phthalocyanine blue pigment having a maximum absorption wave length of from 640 to 700 nm is present in said silver halide emulsion layer and/or in another hydrophilic layer of the photographic material.
