ABSTRACT:
A herbicidal composition is described, which contains as active ingredients, ethyl xo 1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)phenyl!propanoate; and N-(phosphonomethyl)glycine or a salt thereof. The herbicidal composition is useful for effective control of a wide variety of weeds in corn fields, soybean fields, wheat fields, barley fields, oat fields, rye fields, rice fields or paddy fields. Also described are a method for controlling weeds by foliar treatment with the above herbicidal composition; and use as a herbicide for foliar treatment, of a mixture of the above active ingredients.
