ABSTRACT:
Compounds of formula I ##STR1## wherein n is 0 to 3, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 alkyl, C.sub.5 -C.sub.8 cycloalkyl or --CH.sub.2 SR.sub.3, R.sub.3 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 alkyl, phenyl or benzyl, and R.sub.4 is hydrogen or CH.sub.3, are admirably suitable as chain-terminators in the anionic solution polymerisation of 1,3-dienes.
