ABSTRACT:
This invention relates to the use of neuronotrophic factors, such as nerve growth factor (NGF), ciliary derived neuronotrophic factor (CNTF), brain derived neuronotrophic factor (BDNF), neuronotrophin-3 (NT-3), fibroblast growth factor (FGF), epidermal growth factor (EGF), transforming growth factor .alpha. (TFG-.alpha.), transforming growth factor .beta. (TGF-.beta.) and others to prevent drug-induced neuropathy.
