ABSTRACT:
A method of making a novel ski having viscoelastic properties is disclosed. The ski is composed of continuous reinforcing fibers embedded in a matrix of an elastomer modified syntactic plastic foam. The fibers are arranged so as to be at an angle of 0.degree. and 90.degree. with respect to the longitudinal axis of the ski.
