ABSTRACT:
Provided are dental plaque inhibitor compositions comprising a compound of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are the same or different and each is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
The compositions inhibit the formation of dental plaque by inhibiting the transformation of sucrose into insoluble polysaccharides.
