ABSTRACT:
A fibrous magnesium oxysulfate of granular form according to the present invention has an apparent specific gravity of 0.13-0.25, an oil absorption of 260-600 ml/100 g, a fiber diameter of 0.1-2.0 .mu.m and a fiber length of 10-100 .mu.m. The thermoplastic resin composition obtained by incorporating the magnesium oxysulfate into a thermoplastic resin has good properties and good appearance.
