ABSTRACT:
A propellant formulation comprising a polysulfide binder having the formula -SCH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 OCH.sub.2 OCH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 --S.sub.n wherein n is a positive integer of sufficient magnitude to render the binder an elastomeric solid, ammonium perchlorate, ammonium oxalate and iron oxide. The formulation has properties which render it useful for generating gas to pressurize the fuel systems in air-breathing missiles.
