ABSTRACT:
A super-wide zoom lens system having sufficient zoom ratio and a high speed, capable of obtaining high optical performance. The system includes at least, in order from an object, a first lens group G1having negative refractive power, and a second lens group G2having positive refractive power. When zooming from a wide-angle end state to a telephoto end state, a distance between the first lens group G1and the second lens group G2varies. The first lens group G1includes at least one negative lens element and a glass material constructing at least one negative lens element (SL1) in the first group G1satisfies given conditions.
