ABSTRACT:
To provide a zoom lens which attains high zoom ratio and high optical performance over the entire zoom range, enables vibration control and miniaturization, and is compatible with a solid-state imaging device with a large size and a large number of pixels, the zoom lens10includes a first lens group G1having a positive refractive power, a second lens group G2having a negative refractive power, a third lens group G3having a positive refractive power, a fourth lens group G4having a positive refractive power, and a fifth lens group G5having a positive refractive power, which are sequentially arranged in that order from the object side. Zooming is performed by the independent movement of the first lens group G1,the second lens group G2,the third lens group G3,and the fourth lens group G4along an optical axis. Image stabilization for mitigating camera shake is performed by the movement of the fourth lens group G4along the direction perpendicular to the optical axis.
