ABSTRACT:
A zoom lens includes first to fifth lens units arranged in sequence from an object side to an image side, and having positive, negative, positive, negative, and positive refractive powers in that order. The zoom lens performs zooming by moving the first to fifth lens units. The fourth lens unit includes a negative lens, which is moved in such a manner as to have a component in a direction orthogonal to an optical axis so as to shift an image formed with an entire system in the direction orthogonal to the optical axis. The zoom lens satisfies the condition,in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?0.50<|ft/f4|<1.50,in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?where ft is a focal length of the entire system, and f4 is a focal length of the fourth lens unit, both at the telephoto end.
