A zoom lens is disclosed comprising, from front to rear, a first lens groups of positive power, a second lens group of negative power, a third lens group of positive power, and a fourth lens group, at least two of these four lens groups being moved to effect zooming and the second lens group being moved to effect focusing, and satisfying the following condition:
