ABSTRACT:
A zoom lens includes a negative first lens group, a positive second lens group, a negative third lens group and a positive fourth lens group, arranged in this order from an object side. Upon zooming from a wide-angle extremity toward a telephoto extremity, all of the lens groups are moved so that a distance between the first and second lens groups is decreased, a distance between the second and third lens groups is increased, and the distance between the third and fourth lens groups is decreased.
