ABSTRACT:
A zoom lens includes, in order from an object side to an image side, a first lens unit of negative refractive power, a second lens unit of positive refractive power, and a third lens unit of positive refractive power. The zoom lens changes the distances between the lens units during zooming. The following condition is satisfied:in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?0.3<|f1/fT<0.5in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?2.3<|f1/fw<3.5,in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?where f1is a focal length of the first lens unit, fT is a focal length of the zoom lens at a telephoto end, and fw is a focal length of the zoom lens at a wide-angle end.
