ABSTRACT:
Disclosed are glass compositions containing specified critical proportions of ZrO.sub.2, PbO, BaO, and SrO, to achieve X-ray absorption, resistance to devitrification and other glass forming properties which render them particularly suited for the manufacture of faceplates for cathode ray tubes for color television applications.
