ABSTRACT:
To the output voltage (U.sub.o) of a switched-mode power supply (300) there is connected an adjustable current path (39), through which there is conducted a low current when the output current (I.sub.o) given by the power supply is zero or nearly zero. The signal by which the conductivity of the current path is adjusted can be received from any part of the switched-mode power supply where a current or a voltage behaves suitably as a function of the output current.
