ABSTRACT:
A writing instrument has an ink storing chamber12formed inside a main body10of the writing instrument, a writing element17provided on a front end of the main body10,a reservoir chamber14formed between the ink storing chamber12and the writing element17that communicates with the atmosphere, a partition wall11that divides the reservoir chamber14and the ink storing chamber12with a through hole11aformed in a central portion of the wall, and an elongated ink supply member20which supplies ink inside the ink storing chamber12to the writing element17,while being inserted into the through hole11aand maintaining a predetermined gap. The ink supply member20is inserted into the through hole11a, while coming into contact with an inner wall of the through hole11ain two or more positions.
