ABSTRACT:
A laser light L is emitted from a laser light source6to workpieces1, 2, to form a laser molten weld pool3, and immediately thereafter, an arc molten weld pool4is formed using an arc welding machine7; thereby plates1, 2are welded. The arc welding machine7is provided with a filler wire to form a bead5on the plate1. With the welding process according to the present invention, workpieces can be efficiently and securely welded regardless of shape and material of the workpieces.
