ABSTRACT:
A transfer feeder41for a transfer press1comprises a pair of bars14provided on a moving bolster30in parallel with a work transfer direction, a feed carrier52held by the bars14and movable in the work transfer direction, a clamp carrier62held by the feed carrier52and movable in the direction of clamp, and a lift carrier72supported by the clamp carrier62and movable in the direction of lift. Since a large drive mechanism is unnecessary, simplification of the construction can be enhanced. Further, since the whole of a transfer feeder41is provided on a moving bolster30, the moving bolster30in its entirety can be carried out of the transfer press1, thus facilitating die exchanging operation.
