ABSTRACT:
A wood surfacing method and apparatus. A projecting surface projects from a cutting head adapted for rotating a knife about an axis. An article of wood is fed toward the cutting head. The projection projects from the cutting head, behind the knife with respect to the direction of rotation of the cutting head. The projection is adapted to make contact with the wood with a force that is substantially constant as the wood is fed.
