A wireless measuring device1is provided which includes a plurality of child units2and a parent unit3to receive data measured by these child units2by wireless communication. Each of the child units2has a controlling section20that can move to a standby state, a measuring section21, a signal receiving section22to receive a measurement instructing signal from the parent unit3, and a signal transmitting section23to transmit the measured data by wireless communication. The parent unit3has a signal transmitting section to transmit the measurement instructing signal to each of the child units2and a measured data receiving section32to receive measured data to be transmitted from the signal transmitting section23.
