ABSTRACT:
Embodiments of a wireless communication device and a method for reducing in-band interference in a positioning system receiver are generally described herein. Other embodiments may be described and claimed. In some embodiments, an adaptive filter may be used to measure interference from signals generated from coupled signals of a co-located transmitter. The interference may be subtracted from digital positioning system signals provided by the positioning system receiver. In some embodiments, the interference is not subtracted from the positioning system signals when the transmitter is not active.
