ABSTRACT:
A wire incrusted with abrasive grains characterized in that it is produced by preparing a cylindrical metallic body having a metallic rod inserted into the central part of a metallic pipe with a gap formed between the rod and the pipe, then filling the gap with mixed powder comprising metallic powder and abrasive grains having a Mohs hardness of 6 or more, and after that, applying hot working and cold working to the cylindrical metallic body before removing the above-mentioned outermost metallic pipe.
