ABSTRACT:
A wide field eyepiece with inside focus includes first and second lens groups G.sub.1 and G.sub.2. The first lens group G.sub.1 includes a negative cemented lens component and the second lens group G.sub.2 includes a positive lens component whose face of greater curvature is faced toward the eye point, a positive cemented lens component and a positive lens component whose face of greater curvature is faced toward the object. The first and second lens groups G.sub.1 and G.sub.2 are arranged in this order from the object side. The following formulae (1), (2) and (3) are satisfied,
