ABSTRACT:
Providing a wide-angle lens having high optical performance, an optical apparatus using the same, and a method for focusing the wide-angle lens. The lens comprising, in order from an object, a first lens group G1having negative refractive power, a second lens group G2having positive refractive power, and a third group G3having positive refractive power. Upon focusing from an infinity object to a close object, the first lens group G1is fixed, and the second lens group G2and the third lens group G3are moved to the object. Given conditional expressions are satisfied.
