ABSTRACT:
2-Styrylbenztriazoles of the formula ##STR1## in which R denotes C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, benzyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxyethyl are suitable for whitening organic materials.
