ABSTRACT:
Conversion kit for converting a snow vehicle into a wheeled vehicle in which the snow vehicle has a transverse beam adjacent the front of the vehicle body. Skis on ski pivots adjacent the front and a powered track assembly adjacent the rear of the vehicle are removed from the snow vehicle and the kit substituted. The kit includes a front axle assembly for mounting a pair of steerable front wheels, and a rear axle assembly adapted to be powered for mounting a pair of rear wheels. The kit also includes front axle mounting structure adapted to be secured to the transverse beam and to mount the front axle assembly on the body, which structure includes at least one axle bracket having a pair of flanges. The flanges straddle the front axle assembly to receive an axle attaching bolt passing through the flanges and the front axle assembly to secure the front axle assembly to the axle bracket.
