ABSTRACT:
A watercolor ink contains a water-soluble dye, water, and at least one benzyl ether represented by the general formulas ##STR1## (wherein n.sub.1 stands for an integer of 3 to 15) and ##STR2## (wherein m stands for an integer of 1 to 15 and n.sub.2 for 0 or an integer of 1 to 14, providing that 1.ltoreq.m+n.sub.2 .ltoreq.15 is satisfied).
