ABSTRACT:
The water resistance of gypsum compositions, such as those used in gypsum wallboard, is improved by incorporating in the compositions an aqueous emulsion containing a paraffinic hydrocarbon having a melting point of 40.degree. to 80.degree. C., montan wax and polyvinyl alcohol.
