ABSTRACT:
Water-reducible coating removers are disclosed. The compositions comprise N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, a glycol ether ester, a C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 aliphatic alcohol, and a surfactant. The coating removers are suitable for stripping partially and fully dried alkyd, latex, and nitrocellulose coatings.
