ABSTRACT:
The invention provides a water-reducible coating composition comprising an epoxy resin, an amino group-containing curing agent for the epoxy resin and a formic acid ester having a solubility of at least 0.2 g in 100 g of water of a temperature of 20.degree. C., with the exception of tert. butyl formiate.
