ABSTRACT:
Water-insoluble monoazo dyestuffs of the formula ##STR1## wherein R is optionally substituted lower alkyl or phenyl, X is .beta.-hydroxyethyl or .gamma.-chloro-.beta.-hydroxypropyl, and Y is lower alkyl, a process for the manufacture of the said dyestuffs and their use for coloring synthetic textile materials in particular aromatic polyester textile materials.
