ABSTRACT:
Stable water-in-oil emulsion for cosmetic or pharmaceutical use.
This emulsion comprises a fatty phase in a proportion of 15 to 40% consisting of at least one silicone in a proportion of 15 to 40% by weight relative to the total weight of the emulsion, and an aqueous phase containing at least one electrolyte-insensitive aqueous gelling agent, the emulsifying agent of the said emulsion being an alkyl- or alkoxydimethicone copolyol of general formula: ##STR1## in which: X is a hydrogen atom or a C.sub.1 -C.sub.16 alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.16 alkoxy or C.sub.1 -C.sub.16 acyl,
