ABSTRACT:
A stable aqueous dispersion of a solid lubricant combination of MoS.sub.2 and graphite and an acrylic resin is used to coat bearing members to provide an air drying long lasting lubricant coating. A typical formulation is 60 to 80% water, 15 to 30% MoS.sub.2 and graphite in the weight ratio of 1.5:1 to 2.5:1 and 5 to 10% polybutyl acrylate. The MoS.sub.2 and graphite preferably have a particle size of less than 5 .mu.m.
