ABSTRACT:
A waste toner collecting device incorporated in electrophotographic equipment of the type electrostatically forming a latent image on a photoconductive element, developing the latent image by a toner, and transferring the resulted toner image to a recording medium. The device collects a waste toner having been removed from the photoconductive element after the image transfer in a storing section thereof. An auger for conveying the waste toner to the storing section is operatively connected to a drive shaft by a mechanism which is disposed in the storing section and constituted by pin gears each having a number of uniquely configured pins.
