ABSTRACT:
The wall plate structure (10) includes a wall plate (16) that has a rectangular opening (50) therein. A flat, flexible screen (18) is mounted to the back surface (46) of the wall plate and closes the opening (50). Openings (66, 67and68) are formed in the screen for the passage therethrough of communication cable (74). The wall plate structure is substantially flat to facilitate the mounting of communication equipment in flat abutment with the wall surface.
