ABSTRACT:
A system is provided to coalesce bubbles in the wake of a structure that rces the surface of the water. Acoustic sources mounted to the structure produce a plurality of plane waves above and below the surface of the water. The plane waves intersect to create a plurality of standing wave fields both above and below the surface of the water. The standing wave fields operate on bubbles in the wake to coalesce same.
