ABSTRACT:
A voice communication system, in which the real space is associated with a virtual space and a relative location and direction of a communication partner in the real space can be grasped as bodily sensations, is provided. A client201comprises a GPS receiver231and a magnetic sensor232which detects a location of a user of the client201itself in the real space, a presence provider222which sends the location detected by the detection means to a server apparatus, a space modeler332which calculates a location of the user in the virtual space based on the location of the user himself and locations of the other users in the real space, and an audio renderer216which controls sound effects based on the locations of the users in the virtual space.
