ABSTRACT:
A substantially avirulent vaccine against Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS) is provided, which effectively immunizes swine against the U.S. and European forms of the disease, together with a method of growing the viral agent in vitro, and a method of attenuating the virus for vaccine preparation.
